سرو کهنسال

سَرْو اَبَرکوه یکی از آثار طبیعی ملی ایران است.

این درخت که در شهر ابرکوه قرار دارد یکی از پیرترین موجودات زندهٔ دنیا است. 

محیط تنهٔ این درخت در روی زمین یازده و نیتم متـــر است و بلنــــدای آن بین 25 تا 28 متــر 

برآورد شده‌است.

حمدالله مستوفی در کتاب نزهت القلوب که در سال 740 قمری تألیف شده دربارهٔ ابرکــــــوه 

می‌نویسد: «در آنجا ســـروی است که در جهــــان شهــــرتی عظیم دارد…». دانشمند روس

 الکساندروف، عمر این سرو را بیش از 4٬000 سال می‌داند. برخی از افسانه‌ها، کاشتـــن آن 

را به زرتشت نسبت می‌دهند و برخی نیز به یافث (پسر نوح).

رباط زین الدین مهریز

رباط یا کاروانســــرای زین‌الدین در 30 کیلومتـری مهریز قرار گرفتــه است و تاریخ احداث آن 

به دوران صفویه بین سال‌های 1007 تا 1030 هجری قمری باز می‌گردد. این کاروانســـرای 

آجری، تنهای بنای تاریخی مدور ایران است که پنج برج، پیوسته از آن محافظـت می‌کننـــد. 

فضای داخلی رباط زین‌الدین از اتاق‌ها، سکوهای استراحت مسافران، شاه‌نشین، شترخانه

 و بادگیر تشکیل می‌شود. هنوز هم این کاروانسرا، کاربرد اقامتگاه و هتـــل دارد و پذیـــرای 

گردشگران داخلی و خارجی است.
